In December 2019, coronavirus disease 2019 began to spread rapidly in China. It has been reported that elderly people with underlying diseases have a higher risk of death, and the elderly cancer patients, due to the particularities of their underlying physical and mental state, are at greater risk than normal people .The purpose of this paper is to explore the prevention and control measures for the elderly cancer patients in the current outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 and to help them to prevent themselves from in infection in a scientific manner.
