Diabetic cardiomyopathy is a disorder of the heart muscle in people with diabetes, and a specific cardiomyopathy that cannot be attributed to hypertensive heart disease, coronary atherosclerosis disease, heart valve disease or other heart diseases. In the occurrence and development of this disease, besides a series of metabolic changes in myocardial cells, endothelial cells, as an important part of heart, have metabolic disorders at the same time, which results in cardiovascular dysfunction as the pathophysiological foundation of diabetic cardiomyopathy. In this paper, we reviewed the researches on endothelial cell metabolism in diabetic cardiomyopathy.
