Abstract:Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) is the mainstay of therapy for persistent asthma. However, its effect in the treatment of severe asthma is limited. At present, several new therapies have been approved for the treatment of severe asthma, including long-acting anticholinergic drugs (LAMAs), bronchial thermoplasty, targeted therapy, biological agents and immunosuppressive agents. We gave a summarization in order to provide reference for clinicians.
