| The aging society is threatened by a gradual increase of the incidence of acute pancreatitis, which warrants more attention both now and in the future. This review described its etiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations and complications, diagnostic paradigms, treatment and prognosis in the elderly, providing reference for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. |
