    Abstract:

With the increase of diabetes incidence rate, diabetes patients with heart failure are also gradually increased year by year. Diabetes is an important and independent risk factor for heart failure, which worsens the prognosis and causes significant increase in hospitalization rate and mortality of patients with heart failure. These two diseases often occur concomitantly with poor prognosis, which has become one of the major cardiac events in the elderly with diabetes. In this paper, we reviewed the pathogenesis, pathological changes, clinical manifestations and the management of diabetes patients with heart failure, so as to actively prevent, retard the progression, and improve the patients′ quality of life.
