    Abstract:

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related neurological disease that is the leading cause of dementia, characterized by gradual decline of memory, cognitive dysfunction and personality disorder. Epidemiological studies and animal studies have found that low circulating levels of androgen is a risk factor for AD. In this paper, we reviewed the relationship between androgen and AD and the related mechanism.
