    Abstract:

Frailty in the elderly is a geriatric syndrome characterized by functional decline that can lead to an increased risk of falls, disability, hospitalization, and death. Studies have shown that different dietary patterns are related to the frailty in the elderly, and it can be prevented by improving their dietary patterns and providing dietary guidance. This review summarized dietary patterns and their relationship with frailty, and the role of dietary pattern in the prevention and management of frailty, to provide guidance for dietary pattern, nutrition management, and related research in clinical practice.
