Abstract: |
Cerebral infarction is the most common type of stroke, and is of high incidence rate, mortality rate, disability rate and recurrence rate. Elderly patients with cerebral infarction are characterized by difficulty in self-care, cognitive dysfunction, needing more family caregivers, more medical intervention measures, and longer time for nursing and rehabilitation. In late December 2019, a pulmonary epidemic caused by 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) broke out in China, and until now, the situation is still very serious in its prevention and control. Therefore, it is of great importance to make adjustments to secondary prevention strategy for the elderly patients with cerebral infarction. This paper elucidates the adjustments in the aspects of the protection, seeking medical advice, follow-up, management of complications, and so on, in order to provide reference for clinicians. |
