Abstract:Coronary heart disease (CHD) has a high morbidity and mortality in China. The study of its risk factors has always been a hot focus. Studies have found type D personality as an independent risk factor for the occurrence and prognosis of CHD. This paper reviews the studies of personality and CHD, focusing on the introduction of type D personality, including its origin, characteristics and evaluation methods, and exploring the progress made both at home and abroad in clinical research of the effects of type D personality on CHD and its mechanism. It is expected to provide the basis for improving the prognosis in CHD patients of type D personality.
