Abstract:
      It is of great importance for the patients with cardiovascular disease or cardiovascular risk factors to take aspirin conti-nuously for lifelong time, but, whether stopping the administration of aspirin in such patients during perioperative period is a common challenge. What’s more, how to balance the effect of aspirin in aspect of reducing thrombosis but increasing perioperative bleeding has not got a clinically definitive conclusion yet. In this paper, we reviewed the application of aspirin in the perioperative period and the role of thrombelastography in the evaluation of platelet function.
