    Abstract:

Inflamma-aging refers to the chronic proinflammatory state of the body that appears in the process of aging and progre-ssively with aging. Osteoporosis is a systemic disorder of bone metabolism, which is characterized by low bone mineral content, bone microstructure damage, reduced bone strength, increased bone fragility, and easy fracture. At present, some prospective studies abroad have found that inflamm-aging is closely related to osteoporosis. In this paper, we reviewed the research progress on the concept and mechanism of inflamm-aging, and on the relationship between inflamm-aging and osteoporosis.
