    Abstract:

Chronic heart failure (CHF) is still a cardiovascular disease of high incidence rate, high readmission rate and high mortality. In recent years, a large number of clinical observational studies and basic animal studies have demonstrated that low vitamin D level is closely associated with the morbidity and mortality of CHF, but, the underlying mechanism between them remains unclear. The article reviewed the research progress of vitamin D and CHF in recent years so as to investigate the possible mechanism of vitamin D in the incidence and development of the disease.
