    Abstract:

Incidence of geriatric lung cancer increased with aging. In China, the elderly patients with lung cancer deserve great attention regarding that the elderly population has been increasing and the life expectancy is expected to enhance. The elderly patients with geriatric lung cancer are characterized by vital organ dysfunction, multiple basic diseases, and poor drug endurance. Current diagnosis and treatment for geriatric lung cancer is far from being satisfactory. The evidence-based diagnosis and treatment of geriatric lung cancer is strongly recommended, which remains a great challenge currently.
