    Abstract:

Objective To investigate FOS protein expression in the medullary visceral zone (MVZ) of the rat model of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) induced multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS),and to discuss the possible regulating mechanisms of MVZ in the development of MODS caused by SAH. Methods Rat model of SAH-induced MODS was prepared by injecting arterial blood into the Willis’ circle. The expression of FOS protein in MVZ was analyzed immunohistochemically. Results The FOS protein expression in MVZ peaked at 24-36h after SAH,and was obviously higher than that in normal control group and sham-operation group. Most organs suffered inflammatory injuries at various degrees on each time point after SAH,which peaked at 24-36h. Incidence of systemic inflammatory response syndrome and MODS after SAH was 100% and 69.4% respectively. Conclusion FOS protein expression pattern parallels the histological changes of each organ following SAH. It indicates that MVZ may be one of the direct center regulating the development of SAH-induced MODS.?更多
